At Hunting Adventure, we stand behind our gear like we stand behind our shots. If your purchase doesn’t meet your expectations in the field, we’ll make it right. Below is our straightforward return process designed specifically for hunters.
Our Return Policy
You may return most unused items in original condition within 15 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Some items have special considerations (see section below).
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Face Paint (opened containers)
- Scents & Scent Eliminators (used products)
- Gun Cleaning Supplies (opened chemicals)
- Choke Tubes & Extensions (installed items)
- Custom or special-order items
Return Process
Follow these steps as carefully as you’d follow game trails:
Step 1: Initiate Your Return
Email our customer service at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use our template below to ensure we get all necessary details.
Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
Within 24-48 hours (faster than most game spottings), we’ll email you:
- Return Authorization Number (RMA)
- Shipping instructions
- Return address (our hunting lodge in Minneapolis)
Step 3: Package and Ship
Pack items securely in original packaging with all tags attached. Include the RMA number visibly on the package. We recommend using a trackable shipping method – returns are your responsibility until received at our facility.
Step 4: Inspection & Processing
Our gear specialists will inspect returned items within 3 business days of receipt. You’ll receive email notification when your return is processed.
Refund Information
Once approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- PayPal: 3-5 business days
Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For exchanges, we’ll cover standard shipping costs for the replacement item.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your gear arrives damaged or defective (rare as a clean kill at 300 yards), contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll expedite a replacement at no cost to you.
International Returns
For our international hunters (excluding Asia and certain remote regions):
- You’re responsible for return shipping costs
- Include all customs documentation marked “RETURNED GOODS”
- Allow additional processing time for international shipments
